Razer says that it will update its support page with a driver download for Mac users. I installed the driver, and can confirm it now works. Update: Razer has acknowledged the issue, and provided me with an Ethernet driver for macOS. I’ll update this post with more details as I work with Razer to get to the bottom of it. This indicates that the connectivity problem may be just with my individual unit. I connected to no less than four different Macs, and could never acquire Ethernet connectivity.Īfter speaking with Razer representatives, they informed me that it should work as soon as a Thunderbolt 3 connection is established. I want to note at the outset that I was unable to get Ethernet working when connected to the Razer Core X Chroma. The 650W power supply from the original Razer Core X has been upgraded to a 700W power supply on the Razer Core X Chroma, but GPU Max Power support remains at 500W. There’s also a built-in Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting to a hard-wired network.
